The house has a living room with a TV. There is a kitchen which is reasonably well-equipped for preparing basic meals but it has no fridge. There is water for showers but the supply isn’t that reliable so you need to be prepared for tepid if not, cold showers.

Emergency water supplies are kept in the houses for personal hygiene, washing dishes and clothes if there is no running water for awhile. It is strongly advised that you only drink (and clean your teeth) from sealed bottled water which can be bought from the local shops.

The toilet is a cubical with hole in the ground: no flush but, you do get used to it.
