Volunteer work and Spanish school

What is involved in the volunteer work on the South American projects.

Volunteer works consists of two or four weeks of preparatory classes, followed by a one-month minimum of volunteer work. After this requirement is met, volunteers may extend their programme with work-realted activities. All volunteers will receive a certificate from the Spanish school at the end of the language course.

The volunteer programme is for people interested in learning about sustainable solutions to poverty. All volunteers will work in partnership with local people in a variety of community-based projects. This unique project offers exciting hands-on work opportunities, meaningful cultural immersion, and an enriching language programme.

Spanish school

This is an intensive course. All classes will be in groups with a maximum of four students per class, 20 hours per week. Students will have highly structured grammar lessons, interactive activities, conversation and written exercises. Specific homework assignments are given daily and every student is evaluated and tested every week.

Typical week

Five days of classes (from Monday to Friday), seven days with your host family, three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and weekly activities with the school.
