South America
For these projects (not Bolivia), you must be able to communicate with the local people, therefore a programme has been set up for you to learn some Spanish before starting. The lessons will start from two to four weeks duration (depending on your level of Spanish and also what is recommended for the project).

Paraguay is a landlocked country that borders Bolivia, Brazil and Argentina. The Paraguay river divides the country into two contrasting regions, in the west, the Gran Chaco (or Paraguay Occidental), and in the east, Paraguay Oriental. The country’s main sights are the waterfalls, Jesuit missions, national parks and the plains, swamps and forests of the Gran Chaco. |

The country has three distinct regions, a narrow coastal belt (along the Pacific Ocean) the wide Amazon mountains and the Amazon rainforest. Although the coastal belt is a desert, that is where most of the population lives. Peru is renowned as the land of the Inca. This is an 8 week programme |
